These images are printed on FujiColor Crystal Archive extended life paper and have the clarity and quality of traditional "Cibachrome" or "Ilfochrome" photographic prints. The photograph is first recorded on fine grained transparency film which is then scanned at very high resolution. On the computer, the photographer has an even wider range of control in cropping, color balancing, sharpening and selective treatments that draw forth the beauty and intensity of the image.

Final prints are made using a high resolution Fujix laser printer. FugiColor Crystal Archive prints are considered fade proof for at least 60 years. Fujix Pictography prints look just as good as the Fujix prints but are cheaper to make. They have a display life estimate at 15 years. Neither type of print should be displayed in an area that receives direct sunlight.

These images start as photographs, but through digital manipulation and compositing they take on a more impressionistic, painterly quality that is best expressed on canvass through a printing process known as Giclee. Giclee prints are considered fade proof for 60 years.
